Power Surge
The Cordova High School Alumni Association’s October fundraising event recently allowed the group to purchase and donate six golf car batteries to the school. The batteries will keep the on-campus cart powered up and ready to transport campus visitors who are unable to traverse the large campus as well as aiding injured students or students with mobility issues. Cordova High Principal, Jackie Levy, (second from right) along with school custodian Panya Patamakamo (far right) recent accepted the donation that was presented by CHS Alumni Association member (from left) Marguerite David, Nancy Scovill and Skip Rawstron. Congratulations to Jackie Levy, as she plans to retire at the end of the school year. 2010.
