June 9 - 11, 2006 !A WILD EVENT!!!
COME BACK IN A FEW WEEKS
FRIDAY EVENING 'MEET & GREET': From 6 - 9:00 p.m. at McDonald's
The drive-in was a perfect setting to socialize and get acquainted. Hamburger, fries & a coke were 66 cents each! Over 100 people attended and we ‘hung out' late. Two classic Mustangs '66 & '67 showed up and were the perfect backdrop for retro pictures, while the Hummer boombox played “American Graffiti”! Mr. Beckman's visit highlighted the evening.
SATURDAY EVENING BIG EVENT: From 5:30 - 11:00 p.m. at the Cordova Rec Center .
Elegant & Wow! 165 classmates, teachers and guests gathered to party! The food was fabulous, oldies and dance music – awesome, and the ‘Prom' photo session by NorcalCandids, a hit! Robert West gave us some words of welcome and wisdom. Classmates introduced 11 teachers and door prizes were given away. A tribute memorial was on display for our deceased classmates and two special guests were introduced: Cali , the daughter of Cal Kendall, and her Mom, Michelle. Oldie 60's music filled the air all night long. The parties continued at hotels and homes. Oh, What a Night!
SUNDAY GATHERING AT CORDOVA PARK: From Noon – 4:30 p.m. It was perfect weather for visiting over yearbooks and pictures. We munched on appetizers, pizza & chicken! Our picnic welcomed visitors from Class of '65, '67, as well as classmates who couldn't attend on Friday or Saturday. Great finish to the 40 th Reunion Weekend!
WHAT'S NEXT? The DVD of our 1966 graduation, 20 th , 30 th & 35 th reunions that played on Saturday night is getting enhanced with the 40 th Reunion . We're collecting pictures for a few weeks. Anamarie Reichert-Malone is taking orders from anyone who wants “memories” or couldn't attend our EVENT. The cost is $10 for disks, packaging and postage.
